There is no democracy without reliable information.

ORION Community Organization
Polish NGO established in 2014

We believe that there has never been a more crucial time to educate the public.

We operate through extensive public education initiatives aimed at raising social awareness and inspiring change.

Our mission focuses on actively responding to and counteracting negative phenomena such as violence, discrimination, human rights violations, environmental degradation, and noise pollution. We also help and support individuals experiencing violence and those affected by harmful noise exposure. Additionally, we assist people with special needs, including disabled war refugees from Ukraine.

Violence

We undertake educational activities about violence, mainly against children, adolescents and women, with a special focus on psychological and sexual violence.

Noise pollution

We educate on noise pollution and present good solutions (including systemic solutions) for this problem. We provide interventions and legal advice to victims of noise.

Human rights & Social affairs

We speak about examples of human rights violations around the world, including national, ethnic, racial and sexual minorities. We are not afraid of difficult topics.

Disability

We educate on medical innovations concerning disabilities and create textbooks on mental health for students with disabilities and the creation of accessible educational materials.

Sound & ASMR

The world is changing every day. We archive Poland's acoustic heritage, creating audio tours for the blind and mobility impaired and promoting sound tourism.

Ukraine

We help disabled war refugees from Ukraine who have come to Poland with rehabilitation, legal, psychological advice, social and professional integration.

Our Foundation was established in 2014 and has been operating continuously since then.

From the beginning, we have operated as a nonprofit. Since 2019, we have been a Public Benefit Organization (OPP). This status is granted in Poland to nonprofit organizations that meet rigorous criteria for financial transparency and social mission.
This status not only entitles us to receive 1.5% of the personal income tax, which supports our projects, but also assures our donors and partners that we operate responsibly and in accordance with the highest ethical standards. The OPP status is a confirmation that our activities are regularly monitored and audited, ensuring transparency in all our operations.

Meet some our past and current projects.

As part of our initiatives, we run social campaigns and use social marketing techniques to effectively promote positive attitudes and behaviors. We also create a wide range of educational materials—from articles and studies to podcasts, and video materials and films for the YouTube platform.

Our activities target various age and social groups, enabling us to reach a diverse audience with our message.
